GUJCET 2019 Notification Declared




Admissions into the B.Tech/B.E. courses offered by the participating colleges of Gujarat will be done through GUJCET 2019. There will be two conducting authorities for GUJCET 2019 – all of the examination related events will be conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) whereas the counselling and admission process will be checked by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Registrations for GUJCET 2019 will be open tentatively in the third week of March till the first week of April. Before registrations, the candidates will have to obtain the user ID after paying the fee. Those candidates who complete their GUJCET registration process will be able to download their admit card tentatively from the third week of April 2019. GUJCET 2019 will be conducted tentatively in the fourth week of April. The counselling process of GUJCET 2019 will commence after the merit list is announced. GUJCET 2019 Important Dates

The candidates can check the tentative important dates of GUJCET 2019 from the table given below. By knowing the probable dates, the candidates will be able to be ready for the upcoming exam and admission events.

GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2019
The eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2019 states certain requirements that the candidates have to meet to be eligible for the examination. Those candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to participate in the admission process. Therefore, it is advised that the candidates check the criteria before applying for GUJCET 2019.

Nationality – The candidates should be of Indian nationality.

State Eligibility – Should be bonafide residents of Gujarat. Candidates who are bonafide residents of Gujarat but are residing in other states of the country will also be considered eligible for the examination.

Academic Qualification – The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. If the candidates will be completing their 10+2 examination in 2019, they will still be termed eligible for GUJCET.

Qualifying Marks – In the qualifying examination, the candidates are expected to score minimum 45%. Meanwhile, the reserved category candidates will have to secure 40% marks.


GUJCET 2019 Reservation Of Seats

Candidates who belong to the special categories will be able to apply for the reserved seats. Under every category, there are a certain percentage of seats reserved for the candidates and if the candidates meet the requirements then they will be eligible for these seats.
